Are you ready for Winstock 2019? This year’s edition of the annual country music festival is just days away, and we can’t wait to go and check it out ourselves. Here’s a quick overview of everything you need to know about the event.

Who’s performing?

Winstock always draws a veritable “who’s who” of country music stars, and this year is certainly no exception. Performers for this year include major acts such as Jason Aldean, Old Dominion, Midland, Kane Brown, Brett Young, Diamond Rio, Cassadee Pope, Little Texas, Ashley McBryde, Brandon Lay, Adam Hambrick and more. The Winstock festival website (www.winstockfestival.com) gives you plenty more information about these artists, including the day on which they’re playing, the time and the stage, so be sure to check it out so you can plan your visit to the festival accordingly!

Tickets

Tickets are now available for purchase on the Winstock festival website. The $340 VIP package has already sold out, and there’s currently a waiting list there in case anyone drops. Those VIP packages include VIP seating and parking, as well as food and beverages. Reserved $195 seating is also sold out. However, $140 general admission tickets are still available, as are $125 camping passes, which allow you to experience the festival in all its glory.

Camping

Speaking of camping, there really is no better way to experience Winstock than to be surrounded by thousands of other country music fans in a campsite right next to the concert site. The campsites on the Winstock grounds give you easy access to and from the music area. Four campsites have already sold out, but there are still spots in two more campsites available for purchase.

There are shuttle buses that also go to and from downtown Winsted, MN on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Continuous busing is also provided from campgrounds C, D, F and G on Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 1 a.m.

There’s a full slate of camping rules on the website that you should familiarize yourself with if you’re interested in participating in the camping. Keep in mind that these sites are primitive—there is no running water and no electrical hookups, and open campfires are not allowed (fires must be self-contained). Each campsite is limited to just one sleeping unit. The campsite provides fresh water, medical facilities and one free vehicle parking pass per campsite, and no pets are allowed. There is also live music in the beer tent in the evenings, and a spaghetti dinner on Thursday starting at 4 p.m., hosted by the Winsted Fire Department. Guests are also issued garbage bags for cleanup and are expected to clean their sites before they leave.

There are plenty of other opportunities for fun over the course of the weekend, including the annual bags (cornhole) tournament, other musical acts and so much more. K-Way Express, Inc. is proud to be a sponsor of this year’s Winstock festive. We encourage you to check out what’s in store for Winstock this year, and look forward to seeing you at the festival!
