As a transportation company, it comes with the territory that our drivers need to make stops at public rest areas for sleep, refueling and food. These areas can seem like they’d pose a high risk, but our drivers have been trained on the best ways to stay safe during their stops. This includes practicing social distancing, wearing masks and frequently washing their hands to make sure they’re doing everything they can to keep clean and safe. PPE

Personal protective equipment (or PPE) has quickly embedded itself in the public consciousness during this pandemic. The trucking and transportation industry as a whole has responded collectively, and we are happy to say that the American Trucking Associations has worked to provide drums of sanitizer along major transit corridors to ensure no driver ever has to worry about running out of this critical supply. Our drivers are working hard to sanitize themselves and their equipment regularly as a result.

Reducing exposure

One of the good things about truck drivers and COVID-19 compliance in Minnesota is that, often for long stretches, this is a solitary job.
